An effective solution when medication no longer works
Restore your function and confidence when medication stops working
Is an implant the right choice for you?
An implant is usually considered after simpler treatments have been exhausted. It may suit you if:
You cannot achieve or maintain an erection long enough for intimacy despite ongoing efforts.
Pills and penile injections fail to give a satisfactory result, or their side effects rule them out.
Diabetes, vascular disease, or after pelvic surgery — conditions that impair blood flow.
Curvature or Peyronie’s disease alongside ED, where an implant can correct both at once.
Why have your implant at Misr Andrology Center?

An implant provides a reliable erection whenever you choose, and is among the highest-satisfaction solutions for persistent ED over the long term.
The implant sits entirely inside the body and does not affect sensation, orgasm, or ejaculation — control stays with you.

Penile implant: common questions
Is the implant visible or noticeable to others?
No. The implant is entirely inside the body and nothing shows externally. With the inflatable implant the penis stays in its natural state until you choose to activate it, so no one notices.
Will my partner know I have an implant?
That is a personal decision between you both. The implant does not visibly change the natural appearance and does not affect sensation or orgasm; many couples find intimacy returns natural and satisfying.
Does the implant affect sensation, orgasm, or ejaculation?
No. The implant treats only the ability to achieve an erection. Sensation, desire, orgasm, and ejaculation are unchanged, because the implant does not touch the nerves responsible for them.
Is the surgery painful, and how long is recovery?
You feel no pain during surgery as it is done under general or spinal anaesthesia. Afterwards there is mild pain and swelling controlled with painkillers within days; you resume most daily activities quickly and intimacy after about 4 to 6 weeks.
What is the difference between the malleable and inflatable implant?
The malleable implant is simpler to use and keeps the penis permanently firm but positionable. The inflatable (hydraulic) implant gives a more natural erection when activated and full softness afterwards. Your doctor helps you choose what suits you.
Is the result permanent?
An implant is a long-term solution designed to last for many years and is among the highest-satisfaction ED treatments. Your doctor will explain realistic expectations for your specific case.
